As a qualified Tier 1 supplier to leading global automotive OEMs, Divergent is now expanding its capabilities to address critical requirements in the Aerospace and Defense sectors. Join us on this transformative journey, where your contributions will play a crucial role in shaping the future of technology and production.
Purpose
Divergent is committed to revolutionizing industrial manufacturing within the aerospace and defense sectors through our innovative DAPS technology. Our patented production system employs Nodes™, 3D-printed metal connectors, paired with lightweight materials to construct robust and efficient complex structures. By eliminating traditional tooling, Divergent’s technology fosters radical innovation, cost reduction, and sustainability in vehicle manufacturing.
We are seeking a dynamic and driven Structures Engineer to support the advancement of next-generation aerospace vehicle development. Our goal is to transition vehicle structural systems away from conventional manufacturing processes by utilizing novel materials and cutting-edge technologies. If you are a forward-thinking and innovative engineer, we invite you to help define the future of automotive structures.
The Structures Engineer will oversee product development throughout the entire product lifecycle, from program initiation to production commencement. You will be responsible for creating and managing CAD models, FEA models, and BOMs for both individual Nodes™ and complete structures. This role requires the development and maintenance of engineering documentation, including system-level DFMEA and DVP, while collaborating with cross-functional teams to assess manufacturing and design capabilities, ensuring proposed design alterations can be efficiently produced and assembled. As the DAPS Product Engineer, you'll also serve as a technical liaison between Divergent and its clients, ensuring that product requirements are documented, monitored, and fulfilled.
