Role and ResponsibilitiesUnder the guidance of your team leader, you will engage with our esteemed clients in the aerospace, defense, and railway sectors.Your primary task will involve conducting inspections (visual, functional, dimensional) based on existing documentation such as plans, standards, and technical sheets.You will operate at various client sites within the Lyon area.Main ActivitiesPerform visual and functional inspections of electronic and mechanical parts.Analyze defects and interpret results.Draft non-conformity reports (writing, taking photos, etc.) to ensure traceability of inspections.Read and verify documents related to the reception of parts.Identify non-conforming parts.

What does it mean to be a Quality Inspector at Boccard?To excel in this role, the first requirement is a strong willingness to travel (approximately 3 days a week). You will receive assignments that may take you across France depending on our projects. Don’t worry, you’ll also spend time in the office for tasks that do not require a presence on-site or in workshops.This position is unique in that you will conduct inspections for Boccard projects, primarily for clients in the energy sector. This includes significant involvement in nuclear energy as well as projects focused on new energies such as biomass and hydrogen. What are your specific responsibilities?You will ensure the compliance of equipment and welded constructions with the specifications and technical requirements.Conduct inspections in adherence to applicable contractual requirements,Monitor external suppliers,Perform visual, dimensional, and NDT inspections,Ensure compliance with construction codes, standards, and regulations for outsourced supplies and manufacturing (CODETI/CODAP, NF EN ISO 13480, RCC-M, RCC-Mx, DESP, ESPN, ASME, ...),Participate in defining technical inspection parameters and drafting technical specifications,Manage non-conformance tracking and quality follow-up,Prepare inspection reports,Issue material shipment authorizations,Contribute to continuous improvement programs and propose internal and supplier improvement action plans.‍ Who will be your manager?Your manager will be the Inspection Service Manager, Arthur, who previously worked as a Quality Inspector in the nuclear field.
