As a Senior ServiceNow Developer at Derex Technologies Inc, you will be instrumental in the design, development, and implementation of innovative solutions on the ServiceNow platform. Your expertise will ensure continuous service enhancements for various modules including ITSM, ITFM, HRSD, ITOM, PPM, and SPM.
In this role, you will collaborate with cross-functional teams to gather and analyze requirements, transforming them into impactful technical solutions. You will work closely with product owners and stakeholders to develop requested items and tasks using efficient workflows that meet organizational needs.
Your responsibilities will also include documenting and maintaining functional business requirements, process flows, and use cases, as well as performing operational administrative tasks and assisting with report maintenance and configuration.
You will be tasked with configuring and maintaining data integrations between ServiceNow and other systems, designing and developing ServiceNow forms, tables, and modules, and creating/optimizing workflows to facilitate approvals and process lifecycles.
Furthermore, you will design, create, and configure Business Rules, UI Policies, UI Actions, Client Scripts, and Access Control Lists, including advanced scripting for CMS and Service Portal. You will also be responsible for establishing notifications, UI pages, UI macros, Script Includes, and formatters within the ServiceNow framework.
Best Practices and Governance:
Adherence to ServiceNow best practices, agency security guidelines, and governance policies is critical, ensuring that the environment remains as close to an out-of-the-box setup as possible. You will conduct code reviews and mentor junior developers to foster growth and adherence to standards.
Continuous Improvement:
Stay abreast of the latest ServiceNow features, releases, and industry trends to identify opportunities for process enhancements and automation.
