As a Mechanical Machine Builder at BEKUM America Corporation, you will play a vital role in our manufacturing process. Your primary responsibilities will include:Adhering to OSHA, MIOSHA, and company safety regulations to maintain a safe working environment.Constructing and assembling high-quality blow molding machines and auxiliary equipment, utilizing a variety of tools and machinery.Conducting maintenance and repairs on existing equipment when assigned.Working closely with supervisors, engineering teams, and production staff to troubleshoot manufacturing issues and report any material shortages.Operating power and material handling equipment, including forklifts and cranes.Reading and interpreting blueprints, creating specifications, and drafting sketches for parts or products.Accurately recording daily time, payroll data, and other necessary documentation.

This is a temp-to-hire opportunity on the first shift, offering competitive pay ranging from $24 to $30 per hour based on your experience. Candidates will be required to undergo an interview and a welding test. Please note that initial employment will be through Kudzu staffing for the first 480 hours. Role Overview:The Structural Welder plays a crucial role in fabricating and assembling steel components for our modular and prefabricated building projects. This position demands expertise in various welding techniques, a strong commitment to safety, and the ability to accurately interpret technical drawings and specifications.Key Responsibilities:Interpret blueprints, drawings, and specifications to determine welding requirements.Execute MIG, Flux Core, and stick welding on structural steel components.Conduct inspections of welds to ensure quality and compliance with company and industry standards.Operate welding equipment and tools safely and efficiently.Work collaboratively with fabrication and assembly teams to meet project deadlines.Maintain a clean and organized workspace, adhering to safety protocols.Assist with the installation and assembly of prefabricated structures as required.Document work performed and report any issues or defects to supervisors.
