As the Facilities Manager, you will play a crucial role in ensuring that Rhoda AI's physical environment is secure, organized, and prepared for a variety of activities, from VIP investor visits to freight deliveries and equipment maintenance. You will be the primary liaison for all building-related matters, engaging with our landlord, vendors, and service providers, allowing our team to focus on robotic innovation.

Key Responsibilities

Building Operations

  • Act as the main point of contact for all building systems (HVAC, IT, electrical, plumbing, waste management, pest control) , oversee vendor management and preventative maintenance scheduling.

  • Manage janitorial services and arrange additional cleaning as necessary (e.g., prior to significant visits or demonstrations).

  • Ensure that communal areas, conference rooms, and lab spaces are consistently clean, organized, and functional.

  • Monitor expenses and manage the facilities budget.

Safety & Security

  • Oversee badge and access management, security camera systems, and physical security coordination with IT contractors.

  • Coordinate OSHA and workplace safety initiatives, ensuring compliance with EHS standards.

  • Prepare for emergency response and manage incident protocols.

  • Facilitate the disposal of batteries and other specialized materials.

  • Uphold a safe working environment for employees, visitors, and contractors.

Visitor & Event Coordination

  • Coordinate logistics for visitor events, ensuring seamless experiences for guests.
