Lightspeed is seeking a talented Field Sales Account Executive to become a vital part of our expanding Scotland hospitality sales team. In this role, you will be instrumental in executing a strategic plan that necessitates your active engagement in either Glasgow or Edinburgh. Your responsibilities will encompass the complete sales cycle, from generating leads and conducting product demonstrations to successfully closing deals.
Key Responsibilities:
Develop expertise within the UK hospitality sector.
Analyze competitor activity, including their products and marketing approaches.
Conduct sales forecasts and strategize methods for improving sales performance in your designated area.
Turn prospects into loyal customers via effective sales techniques, including door-to-door engagements, cold calling, and live presentations.
Manage the entire sales process: identify opportunities, engage with clients, craft compelling value propositions, negotiate contracts, and finalize agreements.
Regularly visit customers to understand their business challenges and pain points.
Conduct engaging in-person demonstrations of our retail products.
Maintain accurate records in our Salesforce CRM system.
Generate new business opportunities through networking events.
Qualifications:
Proven sales experience in a field and outbound capacity, ideally within a technology or solution-selling environment.
Solid background in the hospitality industry.
Thorough understanding of sales development best practices.
Exceptional time management skills.
Proven track record of meeting or exceeding sales targets.
Experience with Salesforce or similar CRM systems for managing and organizing sales pipelines.
Ability to excel in a competitive, dynamic, and target-driven environment.
Fluency in English; knowledge of additional languages is a plus.
