Qualifications

QualificationsBachelor’s degree in Electrical, Mechanical, Mechatronics, Chemical Engineering, or a related field. Entry-level to under 6 years of professional experience preferred. A strong interest in semiconductor equipment and field service operations. Legally eligible for international business travel. Basic understanding of electrical/mechanical systems or automation. Excellent problem-solving and communication skills. Fluency in both Korean and English is required. Regular commuting to customer sites in Pyeongtaek is expected.

 Mission of the Role

As a Field Service Engineer, you will be pivotal in installing, maintaining, and optimizing our PEALD and ALD systems at various customer sites in Pyeongtaek. Your expertise will ensure that ASM's tools consistently meet the highest performance and customer satisfaction standards.

Key Responsibilities

  • Execute the installation, relocation, and upgrades of ASM equipment at customer locations.
  • Troubleshoot and address hardware issues related to tool functionality.
  • Carry out preventive and corrective maintenance in accordance with ASM protocols.
  • Collaborate with global technical support teams to resolve complex hardware escalations.
  • Deliver user training and professionally address customer inquiries.
  • Adhere to cleanroom protocols and safety procedures.
  • Maintain precise service documentation, including installation status and service reports.
