About Eastern Communications
Founded in 1972, RACOM specializes in the design, sale, installation, and maintenance of essential communication technologies that support the latter stages of the 911 response process. Our solutions include advanced phone systems, pagers, radios, voice recorders, and other critical equipment that ensures timely responses from police, fire, and ambulance services. Position Overview
The Field Services Manager is tasked with leading a skilled team of 5-10 field service technicians. This role involves overseeing the installation, maintenance, and troubleshooting of Land Mobile Radio (LMR) systems, alongside various mission-critical communication infrastructures. Candidates must possess advanced technical expertise, exemplary leadership abilities, and a strong focus on resource management to drive service excellence and operational efficiency.

The ideal candidate will be an autonomous leader with a successful history in agile, scaling organizations. They will effectively manage team dynamics, enhance customer service, provide sales support, and foster cross-functional collaboration, all while ensuring operational success and an optimal service experience. Responsibilities also include ensuring contract compliance, conducting performance analysis, and utilizing various tools to streamline operations.

Working primarily from our service center, the Field Services Manager will lead day-to-day operations and strategically coordinate visits to customer locations to assure service quality and oversee field operations.
