Job Summary
The Financial Controller will lead the organization’s finance function, ensuring strategic financial management and effective reporting capabilities that align with business objectives and foster optimal outcomes.
Key Responsibilities
Business Advisory:
- Offer strategic advisory services to the ARM Group Board, Executive Management, and Subsidiary Executives to align financial positioning with current and future business priorities.
Balance Sheet Management:
- Assess and implement optimal balance sheet structures for all Traditional Asset Management (TAM) subsidiaries, ensuring compliance with internal ratios and regulatory standards, while monitoring the success of these strategies.
Transactional Accounting:
- Oversee the design and functionality of the organization’s chart of accounts, alongside frameworks and guidelines for accounting operations.
Financial Reporting:
- Analyze and interpret financial statements to inform strategic decision-making, effectively communicating insights to the board and executive management.
Tax Management and Compliance:
- Develop and implement a comprehensive taxation framework and guidelines for the Holding Company and TAM subsidiaries, ensuring adherence to statutory provisions and best practices in tax management.
Budgeting and Forecasting:
- Lead the organization’s budgeting and forecasting processes, providing a detailed financial plan to support operational goals and offering insights on market trends and cost drivers that may affect budget performance.
Cost Management:
- Drive strategic cost management initiatives throughout the organization by implementing waste reduction strategies and activity-based costing measures.
Risk and Compliance Management:
- Ensure the organization’s compliance with regulatory provisions concerning internal accounting processes, records, and reporting.
Corporate Performance Management:
- Lead the continuous enhancement of management information systems for real-time monitoring and analysis of corporate performance metrics.
