Role Overview:
As the Food & Beverage Assistant Manager, you'll collaborate closely with our Food & Beverage Manager to oversee the comprehensive Food & Beverage operations. Your innovative ideas will play a crucial role in enhancing efficiency and creating delightful culinary experiences for our visitors. Your expertise in catering and meticulous attention to detail will ensure that every visitor enjoys a memorable dining experience, from delicious meals to attentive service and those special touches that make all the difference.
Key Responsibilities:
You'll be responsible for:
- Leading and developing your team through effective people management, setting objectives, and providing constructive feedback.
- Building and maintaining strong relationships with both internal and external stakeholders.
- Communicating effectively, with the ability to influence and negotiate.
- Embracing central initiatives in menu development and operational procedures.
- Delivering exceptional customer service consistently.
- Enhancing our catering offerings and successfully achieving performance targets.
- Implementing best practices in catering, ensuring high-quality food and drink production and service.
- Managing budgets effectively, including income generation and cost control, as well as stock and waste management.
- Ensuring compliance with Food Hygiene and Health & Safety regulations.
- Utilizing IT skills, with experience in catering management systems being an advantage.
Candidate Profile:

- Strong people management skills.
- Excellent interpersonal skills for effective relationship building.
- Outstanding written and verbal communication capabilities.
- A proactive approach to menu development and operational procedures.
- A proven history of delivering excellent customer service.
- Experience in developing catering offerings and meeting performance targets.
- Practical knowledge of catering best practices.
- Relevant qualifications such as City and Guilds Level 2/3 or equivalent.
- Experience in budget management and cost control.
- Knowledge of Food Hygiene and Health & Safety compliance.
- Good IT skills, previous experience with catering management systems is a plus.
