About the job

We invite you to submit your CV in English and specify your level of English proficiency.

At Mindrift, we specialize in connecting talented professionals with project-based opportunities in artificial intelligence for leading technology firms. Our focus is on the testing, evaluation, and enhancement of AI systems. Please note that this is a project-based role rather than a permanent position.

Opportunity Overview:

Each project you participate in will involve distinct tasks, which may include:

  • Creating original optics problems that effectively simulate real-life physics research workflows;
  • Ensuring that these problems are computationally intensive, requiring advanced solutions that cannot be resolved manually within practical time limits (days/weeks);
  • Designing challenges that demand complex reasoning in areas such as mechanics, electromagnetism, thermodynamics, and quantum mechanics;
  • Grounding problems in authentic research challenges or practical applications from the fields of optics and physics;
  • Clearly documenting problem statements and providing verified accurate solutions.

Candidate Profile:

This opportunity is ideal for optical engineers who are interested in flexible, non-permanent projects. We are looking for candidates who possess:

  • A degree in Physics (Theoretical, Experimental, or Computational) or a related field;
  • At least 2 years of professional experience, which can include applied work, research, or teaching;
  • Proficiency in numerical simulation methods;
  • The ability to craft problems that reflect real-world physics research workflows;
  • Creative problem-solving skills across various physics disciplines;
  • Familiarity with physics modeling and approximation techniques;
  • Strong written English skills (C1+ level).

How the Process Works:

Apply → Pass required qualifications → Join a project → Complete assigned tasks → Receive payment.

Project Time Expectations:

During active phases, tasks are anticipated to require approximately 10–20 hours per week, based on project specifications. Please note that this is an estimate and does not guarantee a fixed workload.

Compensation:

Contributors can earn up to $35 per hour, depending on their contribution level and pace. Compensation may vary by project based on scope, complexity, and required expertise. Other projects on our platform may offer different compensation levels based on their specific requirements.
