Once you qualify, you'll be included in our freelance talent pool and will receive invitations to projects that align with your skills and availability, although this may not be immediate. When assigned to a project, you will collaborate closely with the team, participating in meetings and activities, even as we prioritize asynchronous communication.
Your Role as a Scrum Master at Human Made
As a Scrum Master, your primary responsibility will be to foster self-organizing teams that are agile and productive throughout sprints, aiming to develop high-performing teams. You will be expected to effectively plan deliverables and assist teams in evaluating their performance. A deep understanding of Scrum and Agile methodologies, along with the ability to coach and mentor teams, is critical. You will recognize value as it pertains to our clients and align it with our organizational goals.
Key Responsibilities:
Implementing Scrum for Quality Deliverables
- Oversee project scope and timelines
- Foster a team culture that promotes collective responsibility for successful outcomes
- Guide teams on Agile principles relevant to the project
- Assist in defining and refining project scope, estimates, and resource requirements
- Organize and facilitate workshops (virtual or in-person) to clarify project needs and relationships
- Lead meetings to track project progress and address any team challenges
- Eliminate obstacles or guide teams in overcoming them
- Evaluate the impact of scope changes and communicate with stakeholders
- Identify opportunities for learning and experimentation
Business Accountability
- Maintain commercial awareness: Understand and report on project budgets
- Manage project allocations in conjunction with team composition
