Role Overview
As a Procurement & Supply Chain Consultant, you will leverage your expertise to craft realistic disruption scenarios, establish expected outcomes and mitigation strategies, and critically assess AI-generated recommendations for their accuracy and relevance.
Key Responsibilities
While each project presents unique challenges, contributors can expect to:
- Develop realistic supply chain disruption scenarios (e.g., supplier delays, quantity fluctuations, logistics challenges, quality issues) rooted in real-world manufacturing and procurement practices.
- Outline anticipated outcomes and suitable mitigation strategies for each scenario.
- Analyze AI-generated outputs against established business logic.
- Evaluate data outputs for precision, completeness, and relevance within ERP environments, particularly with systems like Microsoft Dynamics 365, Coupa, Jaggaer, and Ariba (SAP).
- Assist in the creation and validation of structured data according to specified guidelines.
Qualifications
- A minimum of 4 years of practical experience in procurement, supply chain, or purchasing, preferably within a manufacturing setting.
- Strong familiarity with procurement processes: purchase orders, vendor management, inventory, and production planning.
- Experience with ERP systems such as SAP, Oracle, or Microsoft Dynamics 365.
- Demonstrated capability in designing and analyzing supply chain disruption scenarios and mitigation strategies.
- Comprehensive understanding of various disruption types: delays, shortages, quality concerns, and logistics problems.
- Knowledgeable about Incoterms and the management of transportation/logistics.
- Familiarity with Bill of Materials (BOM) structures and production planning methodologies.
- Experience assessing supplier performance metrics (OTIF, lead times, quality scores).
- Analytical mindset capable of comparing AI outputs against real-world business logic.
- Experience with data validation, structured data entry, or annotation tasks.
- Excellent written communication skills in English.

Compensation
Contributors can earn up to $60 per hour, determined by experience and project requirements.
