About the Role
The Freight Analyst is vital in delivering precise data, insightful reports, and actionable insights across all freight operations. This position facilitates strategic decision-making by ensuring the accuracy and timeliness of freight data.
The role encompasses routine reporting alongside ad-hoc analytical tasks. The ideal candidate will manage competing priorities and adapt to evolving business needs while maintaining focus on essential functions.
This position provides significant autonomy in designing, developing, and refining data and reporting solutions, directly aligning with our core value of Disruption and Innovation. The Freight Analyst is expected to identify inefficiencies, pursue smarter operational methods, and enhance how freight data is collected, analyzed, and communicated across the organization.
Key Responsibilities
- Validate, cleanse, and uphold data from freight forwarders to ensure accuracy and consistency.
- Oversee existing freight reports, continuously enhancing them to provide clear, reliable insights to stakeholders.
- Create new reporting and analytical outputs in response to changing business requirements.
- Address ad-hoc data analysis requests from Supply Chain, Finance, and Operations stakeholders.
- Generate freight expenditure forecasts to support annual budgeting and financial planning initiatives.
- Analyze freight data to uncover optimization opportunities, cost-saving strategies, and operational efficiencies.
- Communicate findings and insights effectively to stakeholders.
