As a valued member of our team at grvty, you will play a crucial role in delivering tactical data engineering solutions. Our skilled Data Engineers, Data Scientists, and ETL Developers work closely with intelligence analyst groups to become their primary data wranglers. You will be involved in developing innovative tools, code, and services that facilitate data engineering activities. Your work will transform raw data into actionable intelligence, addressing immediate mission needs and making a significant impact on real-world situations. You will see the results of your efforts utilized daily, with the opportunity to support various Sponsor mission organizations and mission partner organizations.

The tech stack is diverse, including technologies such as Python (Pandas, NumPy, SciPy, scikit-learn, etc.), machine learning libraries, Linux, AWS/C2S, Apache NiFi, Spark, PySpark, Hadoop, Kafka, ElasticSearch, Solr, Kibana, Neo4J, MariaDB, Postgres, Docker, Puppet, and more.
This position requires work in Chantilly, VA, McLean, VA, and various field offices throughout Northern Virginia, and it is important to note that we cannot accommodate remote work. A TS/SCI + Polygraph clearance is also required.
