About the Role
iCapital Network is seeking a detail-oriented Fund Reporting Analyst or Associate to be a key player on our Fund Reporting team. This role involves the meticulous preparation and dissemination of investor communications, particularly focusing on client fund-level reports for private equity fund-of-funds, feeder funds, and monthly hedge fund reporting tailored for private clients. The successful candidate will engage regularly with leading wirehouses and collaborate with investment and accounting professionals from the underlying private equity and hedge funds.
Responsibilities
- Collaborate within a team of investment specialists to prepare and review quarterly client reports related to private equity, real estate, secondary, and credit fund-of-funds and feeder funds currently under management.
- Analyze and synthesize information from reports provided by private equity sponsors to draft relevant content for client quarterly performance updates.
- Collect, analyze, and review quantitative performance metrics for funds and portfolio companies to include in reports.
- Work closely with administrators to ensure accurate quantitative data for reporting and to comprehend portfolio performance and fund valuation drivers.
- Coordinate internal compliance reviews and obtain necessary approvals.
- Guarantee the timely distribution of reports to clients and relationship managers.
- Review monthly hedge fund fact card reports.
- Draft communications for capital calls and distribution notices to investors.
- Maintain ongoing communication with financial sponsors regarding portfolio company activities and their impact on valuations.
- Coordinate periodic investment portfolio and valuation reviews with team members.
- Act as the private equity product expert in response to inquiries from relationship managers and clients concerning fund performance, capital calls, and other fund-related activities, including fund performance update meetings.
