We are on the lookout for a Global Senior IT Project Manager who brings extensive experience in managing a pipeline of Business / IT projects, ensuring prioritization, timely delivery, and the effective design of Jira projects and workflows.
Key Responsibilities:
- Collaborate with the Project Sponsor and stakeholders on complex enterprise IT projects to define objectives, develop roadmaps, and clarify roles and responsibilities while maintaining a visual task backlog throughout all implementation phases. Ensure projects align with organizational strategic and operational goals through agile, cost-effective, innovative, reliable, and secure technology solutions.
- Evaluate business needs, assess operational impact, advise executives on policy adjustments, and implement necessary changes for compliance and enforcement.
- Lead Agile Ceremonies, including team stand-ups, sprint planning, sprint reviews, and retrospectives.
- Monitor sprint performance by developing and analyzing reports on metrics such as velocity and burn rate.
- Maintain regular communication with stakeholders regarding project progress, risks, and issues.
- Provide mentorship and coaching to team leads.
- Work cross-functionally to create solutions that enable various business units to operate efficiently, focusing primarily on Jira and Confluence.
- Design and develop Jira projects and workflows with an emphasis on practical and efficient solutions.
- Document and share best practices for Atlassian applications, including project configuration and management.
- Identify and implement continuous improvement opportunities in project management practices.
- Design, develop, and facilitate training sessions for both new and existing users as necessary.
