Role overview
The Group Product Manager leads the team responsible for Compass’s real estate leads platform. This platform matches homebuyers and sellers with the right real estate professionals by capturing, matching, and delivering leads efficiently. The role includes overseeing the consolidation of several leads products into one scalable system that supports all lead sources, including Compass.com and partners such as Redfin and Rocket Mortgage. The platform serves over 300,000 real estate professionals.
This position balances strategic planning with technical execution. The Group Product Manager shapes the platform’s direction, builds roadmaps, and ensures a seamless experience for both agents and consumers. The goal is to drive measurable business results and maximize value for agents using the leads platform.
Candidates with product management experience on large-scale real estate products are strongly preferred.
What you will do
- Define and drive the product vision, strategy, and roadmap for the leads platform, balancing immediate needs with long-term growth.
- Lead development and optimization of matching, routing, and distribution systems to improve conversion, efficiency, and revenue.
- Use data, experimentation, user research, and machine learning to inform product decisions and improve performance.
- Work closely with engineering and design leads to translate specifications into features agents and staff want to use.
- Partner with business stakeholders to ensure product investments align with company priorities and partner outcomes.
- Collaborate with other Product team members to create intuitive, transparent experiences for agents, driving adoption and communicating value.
- Translate complex technical systems into clear, actionable strategies for both technical and non-technical audiences.
- Set goals, define success metrics, and develop experimentation frameworks to measure impact and prioritize work.
- Act as a product leader, influencing cross-functional teams and fostering collaboration across the organization.
