Key Responsibilities
- Provide technical direction to the user acquisition team, identifying when campaigns are misallocated and recommending effective strategies.
- Manage the data aspect of early market validation tests, establishing tracking mechanisms, analyzing results, and reporting on the scalability potential of casual game prototypes.
- Uncover funnel leaks by investigating discrepancies across games, regions, and audiences, determining whether issues arise from technical glitches, targeting misalignments, or game mechanics.
- Act as the connection between advertising efforts and in-game performance metrics, constructing reports that highlight which ad creatives attract engaged players, identify key performance indicators, and explore cohort performance variations.
- Motivate the user acquisition team to surpass mere “cheap clicks” and vanity metrics, steering them towards building a sustainable product that attracts the right player demographics.
- Collaborate closely with distribution and product teams to pinpoint opportunities for enhanced distribution.
- Create robust experimental frameworks and conduct analyses that support profit enhancement and distribution improvements.
- Provide insights to the marketing team regarding test developments and strategic initiatives.
