As a GSE Maintenance Technician, you will play a vital role in ensuring our Ground Support Equipment (GSE) operates at peak performance. You will work closely with team members across various departments and coordinate with external contractors and suppliers. Your expertise will contribute to the meticulous creation, assembly, and repair of metal structures and components, all while adhering to the high-quality standards our clients expect.
Key Responsibilities:
- Service and Repair GSE Fleet: Perform routine maintenance and repairs on GSE to maintain optimal efficiency and safety.
- Breakdown Response: Quickly respond to breakdowns and faults in service to minimize downtime.
- Planned Maintenance: Execute planned maintenance schedules and ensure compliance with company standards.
- Diagnostic Work: Apply your strong diagnostic skills, both electrical and mechanical, to troubleshoot and resolve issues effectively.
- Record-Keeping: Keep accurate records of maintenance activities using our fleet maintenance IT system, including parts and materials usage.
- Safety Inspections: Conduct thorough safety inspections to ensure adherence to operational standards.
- Housekeeping Standards: Uphold high cleanliness standards in workshops and service vehicles.
- Team Collaboration: Follow instructions from senior technicians and work collaboratively with team members for seamless operations.
- Communication: Provide updates to supervisors and colleagues regarding repair progress and job statuses as needed.
- Adaptability: Be willing to take on additional tasks to support operational flexibility and team objectives.
