Your qualifications:Education:Master’s degree in Electronics, Electrical Engineering, Software Engineering, or a related technical field. Experience:Proven experience in test engineering, debugging, and validation within an industrial setting;Experience with production line test configuration and support (e.g., CCS) is advantageous;Familiarity with MES systems and database management (MES/OIS) is preferred. Skills:Strong abilities in data analysis, dashboard creation, and KPI development;Understanding of series production processes and series-care activities;Knowledge of regulated environments, audits, and technical documentation. Languages:Fluency in English is required; proficiency in German is a plus. Working Style:Strong analytical and critical thinking skills; ability to work collaboratively and independently.

About the job

Your role in driving innovation:

  • Design and enhance hardware and software test systems for automotive electronics, ensuring solutions are robust, efficient, and scalable for mass production;
  • Conduct data analysis, develop insightful dashboards (using tools like Power BI, Tableau, or similar), and create queries and KPIs to support data-driven decision-making;
  • Work collaboratively with development teams to identify, analyze, and resolve issues related to testing;
  • Prepare and maintain comprehensive technical documentation, assist in internal and external audits, and contribute to DLR activities;
  • Engage in the industrialization of new test systems, which includes configuration, validation, and commissioning of equipment;
  • Assist in the setup of test systems in production lines, both locally and internationally;
  • Evaluate and validate test results, ensuring compliance with quality and performance standards;
  • Monitor and enhance test system performance through KPIs such as First Pass Yield (FPY), retest rate, and test duration;
  • Contribute to ongoing improvement initiatives, identifying chances to enhance cost-efficiency, reliability, and technological capabilities;
  • Facilitate knowledge transfer through clear documentation and effective communication with cross-functional teams.
