About the Role:
This pivotal leadership position is responsible for shaping, executing, and managing Planet's global Total Rewards strategy, which encompasses all aspects of compensation and benefits programs. As the leader of this function, you will ensure that our rewards philosophy is competitive, equitable, compliant, and aligned with our corporate strategy and values, thereby supporting talent attraction and retention across our SaaS and hardware divisions. You will report directly to the Chief People Officer and work closely with the Executive team, Finance, Legal, and the Compensation Committee of the Board of Directors, ensuring the responsible management of executive and equity compensation in a publicly traded context.
This role is full-time and hybrid, requiring you to be in our San Francisco or Arlington, Virginia office three days a week.
Impact You'll Own:
- Lead the development and implementation of the global Total Rewards strategy, including base pay, variable compensation, sales commission structures, long-term equity programs, and comprehensive global benefits (health, welfare, and retirement).
- Oversee the preparation of all necessary materials and presentations for the Compensation Committee of the Board of Directors, including executive compensation proposals, pay-for-performance analyses, and all required public disclosures.
