tgs is hiring a Hebrew to English Translator for its Manchester office. This internal role centers on translating a range of documents from Hebrew into English, ensuring each translation meets production standards and reflects subject matter accuracy. The hiring process includes a linguistic skills assessment.
Main responsibilities
- Apply TransPerfect’s quality standards to deliver translations that meet or exceed client expectations.
- Complete required Associate Linguist training, covering subject matter certification, technical tools, production workflows, and quality assurance procedures.
- Use internal resources such as Confluence and Launchpad to support daily translation tasks.
- Follow detailed project instructions and make use of reference materials, translation memory, and glossaries for all assigned work.
- Comply with internal and client-specific processes for every project.
- Collaborate with the Team Lead or a senior team member to achieve project goals.
- Meet quality and efficiency targets set by your supervisor.
- Perform additional duties as assigned by management.
Requirements
- Strong Hebrew and English language skills, with the ability to produce accurate translations.
- Willingness to undergo a linguistic skills assessment during the hiring process.
