This role centers on connecting with customers in a high-energy call center, supporting their home financing needs, and building a path toward a licensed Loan Consultant position. The focus is on sales growth, customer engagement, and professional development within the mortgage industry.
What you will do
- Make outbound calls to potential customers, presenting loan options and qualifying borrowers for the next steps with a licensed Loan Consultant.
- Manage a pipeline of prospects, including those interested in buying a home, refinancing, or seeking a home equity line of credit.
- Meet sales performance targets by converting prospects into qualified opportunities.
- Guide home buyers through the mortgage application process, handling both inbound inquiries and outbound follow-ups.
- Complete sales activities within set timelines and respond quickly to new leads.
- Deliver strong customer service by answering questions and building product and market knowledge.
- Adapt to customers' timelines and goals to support their needs.
- Offer feedback to internal teams and test new solutions to improve the customer experience and in-house tools.
Requirements
- Minimum 2 years of sales experience, with at least 1 year in the mortgage industry preferred, especially in a call center or outbound sales role.
- History of exceeding sales quotas, with references to support motivation, achievement, and work ethic.
- Self-motivated, with a strong sense of ownership and a focus on customer needs.
- Organized, with excellent time management skills.
- Strong interpersonal skills and the ability to build rapport with a wide range of customers.
- Clear written and verbal communication abilities.
