The Human Resources Manager is instrumental in fostering a robust, values-oriented culture while enhancing leadership capabilities throughout the organization. With 4-5 years of comprehensive HR experience, this role integrates hands-on HR operations with strategic initiatives aimed at elevating employee engagement, leadership effectiveness, and overall organizational development.
Key Responsibilities
1. Culture & Engagement
- Champion the integration of organizational values through HR processes, including onboarding, performance assessments, and employee engagement initiatives.
- Assist in the creation and implementation of employee engagement programs such as team-building activities, recognition schemes, and wellness initiatives.
- Collect and analyze feedback via surveys, focus groups, and exit interviews, providing insightful reports to senior leadership.
- Serve as a culture ambassador, exemplifying collaboration, inclusivity, and accountability.
2. Leadership Support & Development
- Collaborate with department leaders to identify training and coaching needs for team leads and managers.
- Organize and facilitate leadership development workshops, onboarding sessions for new managers, and peer-learning circles.
- Offer guidance to managers on performance management practices, effective feedback conversations, and conflict resolution strategies.
- Document leadership development activities, tracking participation and evaluating impact.
3. HR Processes & Employee Relations
- Execute HR policies and ensure employee awareness of HR guidelines and procedures.
- Provide advice and support to employees and managers on HR queries, employee relations, and grievance processes.
- Ensure adherence to local labor laws and regulations.
- Prepare HR dashboards and reports on key metrics such as turnover, engagement, and recruitment.
4. Talent & People Operations
- Oversee the complete onboarding process for new hires, ensuring alignment with organizational culture.
- Manage performance management cycles, including goal setting, mid-year reviews, and annual assessments.
- Facilitate succession planning by tracking employee development and readiness for advancement.
- Maintain HR information systems, ensuring accuracy of employee records, contracts, and compliance documentation.
Qualifications & Skills
- Bachelor’s degree in Human Resources, Business Administration, or a related field is required.
- A Master’s degree or relevant professional HR certification (e.g., SHRM-CP, CIPD) is preferred.
- 4-8 years of experience in HR generalist or management roles.
- Proficient experience in employee engagement and/or leadership development programs.
- Exceptional interpersonal and facilitation abilities.
- In-depth knowledge of labor laws and HR operations.
- Capacity to balance operational responsibilities with employee development initiatives.
