What You Must Have Bachelor's Degree in Computer Programming, Science, Engineering or a related technical discipline. US Citizenship required. Active TS/SCI clearance and ability to obtain a CI Polygraph. 5+ years of developer experience. Meet DoD 8570 IAT Level II requirements including one of the following: Security+ CE, CND, SSCP, GSEC, GICSP, CySA+, or CCNA. What Would be Nice to Have Experience deploying and managing RedHat OpenShift in a cloud and/or vSphere environment. Experience with Amazon Web Services. Python, Shell scripting, Git. Linux distributions: RHEL/RHCOS, CentOS. CI/CD orchestration tools: GitLab CI, Jenkins. Container technology: Docker, Kubernetes, and Cloud Native Computing Foundation ecosystem in general.

Your Role and Impact

Join our dynamic development team that leverages Agile scrum methodologies to create and maintain a robust Platform as a Service (PaaS) solution utilized across multiple security domains. This PaaS environment facilitates numerous tenants and supports a diverse array of application stacks and data services. We are looking for a Hybrid Cloud Platform Engineer with TS/SCI clearance to contribute to our Intelligence customer projects in Springfield, VA or St. Louis, MO.

Your Responsibilities

  • Manage and operate the existing Red Hat OpenShift environment across multiple security domains, including both Cloud and data center (vSphere) settings.
  • Support various OpenShift operators and frameworks such as Crossplane, Kyverno, and RedHat GitOps.
  • Deploy OpenShift to new locations as they become available.
  • Collaborate with internal and external teams to understand integration requirements and scale platforms accordingly.
  • Work closely with security teams to ensure compliance and develop secure solutions.
  • Support data services including RabbitMQ, Redis, PostgreSQL, and Elastic Stack.
  • Create and maintain comprehensive documentation.

Required Qualifications

  • Bachelor's degree in Computer Programming, Science, Engineering, or a related technical field.
  • U. S. Citizenship is required.
  • Active TS/SCI clearance with the ability to obtain a CI Polygraph.
  • A minimum of 5 years of development experience.
  • Compliance with DoD 8570 IAT Level II requirements, holding one of the following certifications: Security+ CE, CND, SSCP, GSEC, GICSP, CySA+, or CCNA.

Preferred Qualifications

  • Experience in deploying and managing RedHat OpenShift in cloud and/or vSphere environments.
  • Familiarity with Amazon Web Services.
  • Proficiency in Python, Shell scripting, and Git.
  • Knowledge of Linux distributions such as RHEL/RHCOS and CentOS.
  • Experience with CI/CD orchestration tools like GitLab CI and Jenkins.
  • Understanding of container technologies including Docker, Kubernetes, and the Cloud Native Computing Foundation ecosystem.
