We are seeking an enthusiastic Implementation Engineer specializing in Customizations & Integrations to provide top-notch technical services throughout the implementation lifecycle, including upgrades, integrations, and ongoing customer support.
This role transcends basic product engineering; while you will engage in coding, it is merely one of many tools you will utilize to achieve customer satisfaction. Your tasks will encompass configuration, troubleshooting, documentation, and effective coordination with internal teams. You will tackle a variety of projects, including customer “quick wins,” custom enhancements, and technical solutions that foster customer success.
As a vital member of our team, you will work closely with clients and various internal departments (such as DevOps, Security, Infrastructure, and R&D) to translate business needs into functional solutions. Clear communication regarding trade-offs is essential as you safely implement improvements. Moreover, you will leverage AI-assisted workflows to expedite processes while ensuring the security of customer data and adherence to Totara’s security protocols.
Key Responsibilities:
- Convert client business and training requirements into functional and technical specifications for the TotaraGov product.
- Assist with implementations, including configuration and integration of customized plugins.
- Manage client upgrades to the latest versions, ensuring thorough regression testing and resolution of issues.
- Support ongoing client success through enhancements and plugin development.
- Provide production support by troubleshooting and resolving support requests efficiently.
- Collaborate with DevOps, Security, and Infrastructure teams to comply with existing standards and protocols.
- Create comprehensive documentation for both technical and business audiences.
- Assist sales team members in translating and estimating potential client training requirements into effective Totara solutions.
- Deliver quick-win scripts and automation tools to streamline processes and enhance customer outcomes, collaborating with engineering for more complex tasks.
- Utilize AI tools to accelerate scripting and testing while maintaining strict data security standards.
- Partner with Engineering for escalations and longer-term product modifications while focusing on customer-specific implementation tasks.
