Role overview
The Implementation Specialist is part of the Professional Services team and reports to the Director of Implementation. This fully remote, full-time position is responsible for guiding clients through the onboarding process. The primary focus is to help organizations make the most of the Submittable platform from the start, blending software training, process expertise, and consultative support.
What you will do
- Collaborate with clients to review existing workflows and recommend effective solutions within Submittable, using industry knowledge and best practices.
- Set up accounts, forms, and workflows based on client needs. Conduct technical and functional tests across applicant, reviewer, and admin experiences.
- Design and deliver customized training sessions for clients and stakeholders, adapting content to different groups and technical skill levels to encourage self-sufficiency.
- Manage the onboarding process end-to-end, including overseeing timelines, setting expectations, and proactively resolving issues for a smooth launch.
- Share client feedback and insights with Product, Engineering, Marketing, Sales, and Account Management teams to support feature development and improve customer adoption and retention.
- Maintain strong knowledge of the Submittable platform and act as an internal subject matter expert.
