We are on the lookout for a dynamic Sales Development Representative to become a part of our expanding North America team at Lightspeed. In this pivotal role, you will serve as the initial point of contact for potential clients, playing a crucial role in driving revenue growth by generating and qualifying leads for our sales team. The ideal candidate will have a background in lead generation or experience selling technology-driven solutions. If you are eager to advance your Sales career, this role is designed for you!

Your Key Responsibilities:

  • Stimulate new business growth by qualifying warm inbound leads generated from marketing sources such as webinars, trials, and quote/demo requests, primarily through phone and email communication.
  • Guide all inbound leads through to qualification for Lightspeed’s inside sales team.
  • Make a memorable first impression on our prospects and customers by delivering an exceptional experience.
  • Identify customer needs to ascertain if Lightspeed solutions align with their requirements.
  • Handle multiple lead sources simultaneously, including incoming calls, emails, chats, and referrals.
  • Utilize Salesforce to manage the existing customer database, ensuring all communications are documented.
  • Collaborate with the Sales Development Manager to formulate innovative strategies to enhance the sales pipeline and consistently achieve monthly, quarterly, and annual targets.
  • Perform additional duties as assigned by management.
