ABOUT THE ROLE

As an Independent Sales Representative for the Golf Division at Mizzen+Main, you will take charge of managing your own territory's green grass business portfolio in Los Angeles, CA. This role involves nurturing customer relationships and overseeing all aspects of the sales process for both existing and new accounts. The ideal candidate will be a self-motivated individual with a solid understanding of the golf industry and a deep passion for golf apparel. You will report directly to the Golf Account Executive, our internal channel leader.

This is a remote independent contractor position.

A DAY IN THE LIFE

  • Drive and execute sales in your territory. Key success elements include, but are not limited to:
    • Developing and strengthening relationships with partners through consistent communication, regular in-store visits, and events.
    • Completing product training for in-season and pre-book lines; ensuring accounts grasp the value proposition and brand differentiation.
  • Assist accounts with visual merchandising and inventory management.
  • Manage all relevant regional trade shows and events within your territory; participate in national shows and events as required (e.g., PGA Show).
  • Prospect and open new accounts to foster sales growth and align with the brand.
  • Present opportunities for soft shops or fixtures to enhance brand visibility, including tournament opportunities.
  • Maintain clear visibility of business performance and provide regular reporting on both quantitative metrics and qualitative feedback from accounts to your supervisor.
  • Contribute to the vibrant culture and success of Mizzen+Main.
