Encora is seeking an Infrastructure Services Engineer in Kuala Lumpur to help design, operate, secure, and maintain the company’s core shared infrastructure services. This role covers DNS, DHCP, NTP, Active Directory, internal PKI/Certificate Authority, and SMTP. The goal: keep these services highly available, resilient, secure, and compliant across cloud, compute, network, storage, and security platforms.
What you will do
- Administer and maintain DNS, DHCP, NTP, internal CA/PKI, Active Directory, and SMTP systems.
- Monitor service availability, capacity, and performance to meet SLAs.
- Troubleshoot incidents, service requests, and escalations, applying strong problem-solving skills.
- Design and implement upgrades, patches, and enhancements for core services.
- Develop automation using PowerShell or Python to improve efficiency and reduce errors.
- Integrate infrastructure services with cloud and hybrid environments, as well as security tools.
- Ensure all services align with security policies, hardening guidelines, audit requirements, and regulatory standards.
- Manage certificate lifecycles and maintain secure configurations.
- Collaborate with Compute, Network, Storage, Backup, and Security teams to improve design and resilience.
- Support infrastructure projects that rely on core shared services.
- Prepare documentation, including architecture diagrams, standard operating procedures, and operational runbooks.
- Identify risks and contribute to risk management practices.
- Stay current on compliance trends, emerging threats, and new technologies.
