Role Overview
As the Product Manager, you will play a critical role in the development of our Warehouse Management System (WMS), seamlessly integrated with our Automated Storage and Retrieval Systems (ASRS) to enhance operational efficiency. The WMS is designed for flexibility, enabling easy configuration to meet varied logistics requirements without the need for extensive customization. Additionally, you will spearhead the integration of the WMS with our advanced fleet management system, paving the way for a comprehensive Warehouse Operating System. This position combines immediate hands-on contributions with strategic responsibilities aimed at shaping the future of automated logistics.
Key Responsibilities
- Understand User Needs: Actively engage with customers to gather insights on operational workflows, challenges, and success metrics. Employ design thinking and user-centered design methodologies to ensure solutions provide tangible value.
- Strategize Product Vision: Assist senior product leaders in refining the product vision and adapting roadmaps based on customer feedback and operational data to align features with business objectives.
- Backlog Management: Take ownership of the backlog for ASRS process flows and WMS integration. Set clear acceptance criteria, prioritize features based on business impact, and ensure alignment with architectural goals and ART objectives.
- Continuous Value Delivery: Collaborate with engineering and operations teams to guarantee timely and high-quality product releases. Facilitate system demonstrations, program increment (PI) planning, and enablement activities to maximize customer value.
