- Strawbridge School (Maryland)
Overview of The Strawbridge School
The Strawbridge School is a non-public institution accredited by the Maryland State Department of Education (MSDE). It provides nurturing classroom environments led by certified special education teachers for students from elementary to high school. The program caters to youth facing emotional, behavioral, and intellectual challenges, ensuring they receive tailored educational support. Operating for 10 months with an extended school year from July to June, the school is committed to helping students who may not thrive in traditional public school settings.
Note: Although Everstand has multiple locations throughout the Mid-Atlantic, internship slots are limited to specific sites. Applicants can express their preferences for locations and programs during the application process.
