As an IT Business Analyst specializing in Supply Chain and Logistics Systems, you will play a pivotal role in bridging the gap between business needs and technical solutions. Your primary responsibility will be to gather, analyze, and document both business and functional requirements, ensuring that they align with our organizational objectives. You will work closely with various stakeholders, including product owners and development teams, to translate complex needs into clear specifications, use cases, and workflows.
The ideal candidate will possess exceptional analytical capabilities, strong communication skills, and a comprehensive understanding of Agile methodologies. A background in customs, logistics, or supply chain management is highly desirable.
Key Responsibilities
- Requirements Gathering & Documentation
- Collect and document business requirements from stakeholders across multiple departments.
- Translate these requirements into detailed functional and technical specifications, including use cases, user stories, activity diagrams, and EPICs.
- Implement BABOK-aligned best practices for business analysis and documentation standards.
- Ensure clear traceability between business needs, system requirements, and delivered functionalities.
- Document workflows, processes, and business rules utilizing UML or other visualization techniques.
- Analysis & Solution Design
- Assess existing business systems and recommend enhancements to optimize efficiency and performance.
- Support development teams in clarifying requirements and ensuring comprehensive understanding of business logic.
- Analyze integration points, data migration, and reporting requirements as part of project design.
- Prepare and validate test scenarios and acceptance criteria in collaboration with QA teams.
- Propose process improvements based on user feedback, performance data, and system analysis.
- Stakeholder Engagement & Communication
- Act as a liaison between business stakeholders and technical teams, ensuring consistent understanding and alignment.
- Conduct requirement workshops, interviews, and feedback sessions to gather insights and refine specifications.
