Essential Duties:Manage ecological construction operations across the Northeastern U.S., focusing primarily on New York State.Prepare estimates and proposals for projects.Engage in business development activities, including attending conferences and networking events to enhance this sector.Oversee project management tasks, including budget tracking, client relations, staff and equipment scheduling, deliverable reviews, and agency interactions.Supervise and mentor junior team members.Build and maintain relationships with public agencies, regulators, private developers, consulting firms, and non-profits to support business development objectives.Strategically plan and manage program budgets.Required Qualifications:Bachelor’s degree in environmental science, natural resources, ecology, geography, or a related field.12-20 years of relevant experience, with a minimum of 10 years in progressive roles within the industry.Excellent written and verbal communication skills.In-depth knowledge of relevant New York State and Federal regulations.Experience in leadership and mentorship of junior staff.Proven ability to cultivate and maintain client relationships.Preferred Qualifications:OSHA 30 Hour Construction Safety Training.Certification as a Certified Ecological Restoration Practitioner (CERP) or Professional Wetland Scientist (PWS) is a plus.

This role requires a proven track record in managing ecological construction initiatives, including wetland construction and rehabilitation, stream and shoreline restoration, invasive species management, habitat creation and restoration, native planting and seeding, as well as green infrastructure projects.
