OPPORTUNITY
This is a pivotal moment for a collaborative, mission-driven leader to steer Brooklyn Urban Garden Charter School into its next phase of growth.
As the Executive Director, you will oversee a school that embodies a blend of academic excellence, sustainability education, and community engagement. You will provide direct oversight and strategic direction to a skilled Principal, working closely to enhance instructional quality and operational efficiency. Alongside a dedicated Board of Trustees and an enthusiastic staff, you will fortify what makes BUGS unique while ensuring the necessary systems, resources, and relationships are established for long-term success.
BUGS is a robust, values-driven organization ready for the future, which may include expanding its programming to add additional grade levels, seeking a new or permanent facility, sharing BUGS’s sustainability-focused curriculum with other schools or organizations, or forming new partnerships that broaden the school's impact. The Executive Director will help the community envision and shape these possibilities, ensuring that any developments align with BUGS’s mission, culture, and commitment to its students.
