Key Responsibilities: Conduct energy audits and feasibility studies to identify effective Energy Conservation Measures. Analyze utility data and assess energy consumption patterns. Perform energy savings calculations, utilizing field data and making informed assumptions. Develop technical documentation and design concepts, assisting with mechanical design projects as needed. Interpret complex plans and specifications to meet project design criteria effectively. Plan, execute, and document the commissioning of various Mechanical and Electrical Systems to ensure optimal performance. Conduct on-site investigations and inspections across multi-discipline projects. Lead problem-solving efforts related to construction challenges and methodologies. Stay current with relevant engineering and construction codes. Qualifications: 2-5+ years of relevant experience in energy engineering. Bachelor's Degree in Mechanical Engineering or equivalent. Pursuing or possess a New York State Professional Engineer (PE) License. Certifications in Energy and/or Commissioning (CEM, CBCP, BCxP, BEAP, etc.) are advantageous. Working knowledge of mechanical, electrical, plumbing, and fire protection systems, as well as building automation systems and design processes. Proficient in building modeling software applications. Detail-oriented with strong analytical, multitasking, and judgment skills. Able to follow direction while thriving in a team-oriented environment.
