Key Responsibilities:
- Adhere to all company policies regarding information security and confidentiality, including HIPAA, FERPA, GLBA, and other relevant regulations.
- Provide accurate on-site interpretation between English and designated target languages.
- Follow established interpreter protocols and procedures as required by Baystate Interpreters, Inc. and the clients.
- Uphold the highest ethical standards, including confidentiality, accuracy, impartiality, professionalism, and cultural competence in every assignment.
- Foster positive, professional relationships with patients, clients, healthcare providers, and staff.
- Continuously enhance your specialized vocabulary and knowledge of subject matters (e.g., medical, legal, social services) to meet client needs.
- Demonstrate professionalism, neutrality, and confidentiality throughout the interpretation process.
