Key Responsibilities:Lead solid waste-related site development projects, including master plans, design drawings, stormwater management, erosion control systems, technical specifications, and cost estimates.Prepare comprehensive reports and studies to facilitate project permitting.Draft work for scoping/conceptual engineering packages.Oversee projects from inception to construction, providing guidance and support.Contribute to project proposal preparation.Collaborate and mentor team members as appropriate.Generate preliminary engineering reports and perform detailed calculations, including stormwater management and leachate generation.Produce high-quality project documentation, including reports and specifications.Assist clients with construction procurement and provide administration services during bidding and construction phases.Manage project budgets and schedules effectively.Qualifications:Bachelor's degree in Civil and/or Environmental Engineering.5-10 years of relevant engineering experience.Professional Engineer (PE) registration preferred, or Engineer in Training (EIT) on track for PE.Project management experience is essential.Minimum of 4 years of civil engineering experience, specifically in solid waste or land development projects.Strong communication skills in oral, graphic, and written forms.Ability to foster relationships with project teams, clients, regulators, and contractors.Self-motivated with the ability to complete tasks with minimal supervision.Willingness to travel to project sites and work remotely as needed.Proficiency in AutoCAD and Civil3D.A dedicated team player with a passion for engineering and project management who can lead projects from planning through design and construction.
