In this stimulating role, you will collaborate with fellow engineers to develop pioneering concepts, strategies, designs, drawings, specifications, and reports. The ideal candidate will excel in both independent and team settings, producing outstanding electrical engineering documentation.
Key Responsibilities:
- Lead electrical engineering efforts on a variety of multi-disciplinary projects, guiding each phase from proposal and design to bidding and construction.
- Possess strong project management, business development, and leadership capabilities.
- Work collaboratively with mechanical, civil, and structural engineers, as well as project architects.
- Conduct thorough code reviews to ensure compliance with regulations.
- Mentor and support junior team members by effectively delegating project tasks.
- Engage in meaningful discussions with both external and internal clients.
- Deliver detailed and effective project outputs to meet client needs.
Qualifications:
- A bachelor’s degree in Electrical Engineering or a related field.
- At least ten years of experience in an architecture/engineering consulting environment is preferred.
- A Professional Engineer's license in Virginia is advantageous.
- Expertise in Revit and/or AutoCAD is highly desired.
- Comprehensive knowledge of electrical distribution systems, power, lighting, utilities, as well as communication, security, and fire alarm systems is a plus.
