The Opportunity
We are in search of a Key Account Director to spearhead growth within a selection of Postman’s most vital enterprise accounts. This position is part of a new strategic go-to-market initiative aimed at enhancing our engagement with large enterprises, broadening our footprint, and delivering the complete value of the Postman platform.
You will collaborate with a team that includes a Principal Solutions Engineer and a Field CTO, forming a high-caliber account team committed to fostering long-term, value-driven relationships. Together, you will engage senior technology executives, identify complex challenges, and promote the adoption of Postman’s enterprise and platform solutions on a large scale.
This role transcends traditional sales; it emphasizes strategic account expansion, multifaceted enterprise engagement, and solution-focused sales.
What You’ll Do
- Oversee and expand a portfolio of strategic enterprise accounts (e.g., Fortune 500, cloud-first companies, extensive developer organizations).
- Engage deeply with senior decision-makers, CIOs, CTOs, VPs of Engineering, Platform, Security, and Collaboration, to position Postman as an essential platform solution.
- Drive multifaceted sales initiatives that increase existing usage and convert widespread developer engagement (tens of thousands of users) into enterprise-wide value.
- Lead intricate solution sales cycles encompassing collaboration, security, API governance, and emerging AI-enabled workflows.
- Identify customer challenges and craft tailored value propositions that illustrate ROI and impact at scale.
- Facilitate cross-functional collaboration with Customer Success, Product, and Marketing teams to ensure customer satisfaction and success.
