Your Role

As a Key Worker at Include Norfolk, you will play a pivotal role in supporting and developing a group of young people and their families. This involves establishing trust through individual sessions, group activities, family visits, and various interventions, including reading and writing support. Your holistic, person-centered approach will guide young individuals from entry to exit, addressing their academic, behavioral, and therapeutic needs while preparing them for post-16 opportunities.

The Key Worker will also create tailored pupil support plans, collaborating with internal and external professionals to enhance development, achievement, and progression.

Key Responsibilities

  • Collaborate with Assistant Head Teachers and Pastoral Leads to manage a caseload, assessing and addressing the educational, emotional, and behavioral needs of students.
  • Design, implement, and evaluate personalized pupil support plans, focusing on critical baseline data such as attendance and predicted grades.
  • Drive attendance initiatives within your caseload, including daily attendance calls, participation in attendance meetings, and executing attendance interventions as directed.
  • Ensure seamless delivery of learning by working closely with teaching staff, fostering continuity and effectiveness in educational outcomes.
