As the Design Manager, your primary responsibility will be to oversee and support the design team in delivering exceptional collections for boohoo, ensuring alignment with both local and international supply chains.
Responsibilities Include:
- Inspire and communicate a compelling vision for the future to your teams.
- Drive the design critical path in collaboration with buying and marketing teams.
- Utilize deep market knowledge and trend awareness to inform design decisions.
- Provide consistent product direction and a unique handwriting for the brand.
- Balance the product range for our customers across various supply channels.
- Champion best practices within the design process.
- Meet departmental deadlines to create seasonal and in-season trend packs for the business.
- Collaborate with the design team to identify key trends, essential items, color palettes, and print directions early in the season.
- Willingness to travel both domestically and internationally as needed.
- Foster strong relationships with Department Heads to provide design support and bridge communication between Designers and Department Leaders.
- Mentor and develop team members to ensure ongoing professional growth.
