The Team
Our Operations department comprises three key functions: Prototyping, Process Engineering, and Production Operations. This position is situated in the Prototyping team, where innovative research transforms into actionable plans that set the stage for downstream activities.
Key Responsibilities:
- Validate instructional materials before they are handed over to Production Operations, ensuring precision, thoroughness, and preparedness for execution.
- Convert prototyping results into organized, production-ready instructions that reflect a consistent structure and logic.
- Identify optimal methods for delivering instructions to end users.
- Collaborate with our international team to tailor instructional delivery for diverse audiences, including alternative language instructions and instructional videos.
- Create and uphold instruction templates in collaboration with the Process Engineering team.
- Oversee and assist the on-site instruction-writing team, managing review workflows and prioritization effectively.
- Develop scalable documentation processes covering data collection, evaluation, scorecards, and quality assurance for instruction sets.
- Work in partnership with Prototyping to enhance the quality of handoffs and minimize rework in downstream processes.
- Represent instruction-writing needs in tooling, template design, and standard release protocols.
- Define and monitor instruction quality and coverage metrics as our output scales.
- Facilitate international rollouts by ensuring instructions are ready for localization, adaptable to regional needs, and suitable for use across distributed Production Operations teams.
