Qualifications
ResponsibilitiesDefine and enforce event instrumentation standards and tracking plans across web, mobile, and backend systems. Own core product funnel definitions such as merchant onboarding, checkout, and subscription conversion, ensuring accurate tracking and understanding. Develop and implement Salla’s experimentation framework, including:Guidance on experiment design (metrics, guardrails, randomization units). Statistical methodology (frequentist and/or Bayesian, sequential testing as necessary). Conduct SRM checks, pre-experiment power analyses, and MDE calibrations. Post-experiment synthesis and documentation of decisions. Ensure trustworthy and reproducible reporting of experiment results, communicating confidence levels, practical significance, and trade-offs clearly. Collaborate with Product Managers and Engineers to integrate measurement into the product development lifecycle from PRD to post-launch review. Perform in-depth product analyses (retention drivers, feature adoption, user segmentation) that inform the product roadmap. Work with the Data Platform team to maintain data quality, pipeline reliability, and self-service analytics tools for product teams. Mentor product analysts and cultivate a culture of analytical rigor, intellectual honesty, and curiosity. Preferred QualificationsProficiency in Arabic. Residing in Saudi Arabia (Jeddah, Makkah). Experience in e-commerce, marketplace, or SaaS product analytics. Familiarity with experimentation platforms like Eppo, Statsig, LaunchDarkly, Optimizely, or proprietary tools. Experience with BI tools (Looker, Metabase, or similar) and modern data stacks (dbt, ClickHouse, BigQuery). Knowledge of Bayesian methods, sequential testing, or multi-armed bandit approaches. Experience working in the GCC region.
