Proficient in both English and Swedish, both spoken and writtenExperience in producing tender documentation and construction drawings for execution contractsStrong knowledge of AMA HusFamiliarity with ABK09 regulationsPreferred Qualifications:Experience in production, site follow-up, or similar contracting experienceExperience in detailed design for contractorsExperience in producing tender documents for total contractsWorked on projects with resources based in other countriesExperience with building structures within railway projects, such as station platforms and technical buildings

AECOM is currently seeking a Lead Structural Design Coordinator to join our transportation team in Stockholm.

As a Lead Design Coordinator, you will be passionate about actively engaging in design coordination within a multidisciplinary environment. Your role will involve leading the design efforts alongside our design team while ensuring close collaboration with clients and project leadership. You will support project scheduling, quality assurance, and risk management.

This position offers an exciting opportunity to work on some of the most interesting and large-scale infrastructure projects in Sweden, focusing on road and rail systems. Our international setting means that English is used daily as we collaborate with colleagues across the globe, particularly in Europe.

Key Responsibilities as a Lead Design Coordinator at AECOM:

  • Act as the representative for AECOM's design team to the client
  • Identify and communicate overarching client requirements to AECOM's team and monitor their fulfillment
  • Coordinate and host meetings with the client
  • Lead internal design meetings with all technical leads
  • Identify and manage interfaces between various technical disciplines
  • Ensure the quality of produced documentation and confirm that documents are well-coordinated across different engineering fields
  • Identify and communicate project changes
  • Actively engage in upselling within our assignments and contribute to business development
