Lightspeed Commerce is seeking a dynamic Learning & Development Partner. In this integral role, you will serve as a trusted advisor and collaborator to Lightspeed leaders and People Business Partners (PBPs) while exercising a significant level of autonomy and judgment. Your primary focus will be to implement impactful, measurable capability-building programs tailored for leadership teams. You will facilitate leadership development initiatives for Lightspeed leaders, leveraging your HR expertise to identify performance gaps alongside PBPs, design and execute customized leadership and capability solutions, and assess their effectiveness to drive tangible business outcomes. Additionally, you will offer personalized support and guidance to PBPs and leaders on Talent & Capability initiatives, including Talent Cycles and Engagement Survey Action Planning.
Key Responsibilities:
Consultation & Partnership: Forge trusted relationships with PBPs and leadership to deeply understand business priorities, evaluate related talent development needs, and propose innovative solutions that empower leaders and PBPs in Talent & Capability initiatives.
Program Ownership & Design: Take charge of creating and executing strategic learning and enablement plans that align with business demands, designing and developing customized learning experiences where standard solutions fall short, and adjusting enablement and communication strategies as required.
Leadership Development: Oversee the complete programming for our senior leaders, including the design and facilitation of high-stakes learning offerings such as quarterly workshops, coaching, or training directed at our Directors/Senior Directors and Senior Leadership Team.
Stakeholder Influence: Utilize your expertise to advise and influence key stakeholders and partners, guiding strategic decision-making related to talent and capability priorities.
Cross-Functional Collaboration: Work effectively with PBPs, regional leaders, and across the People & Culture organization (e.g., Total Rewards, TSI, People Ops) to ensure cohesive talent solutions and operational effectiveness.
Data-Driven Strategy: Collect and analyze data to develop strategic solutions aimed at closing capability gaps, contributing to the long-term program strategy development, and establishing a method for measuring success.
