As our Legal Counsel, you will take on a diverse and challenging role, reporting directly to the Head of Legal. Your key responsibilities will include:Collaborating with the Head of Legal to ensure compliance with applicable laws and regulations in France and other potential markets. Proactively taking measures to mitigate litigation risks, and working alongside the Head of Legal should any disputes arise. Serving as the primary resource for drafting and reviewing contracts across all facets of Joko’s operations, including those related to employees, freelancers, merchant partners, and suppliers. Working with the Head of Legal, Data Protection Officer (DPO), and Product team to enhance our GDPR compliance, incorporating privacy by design and refining existing processes.
