We are on the lookout for a dynamic Liquidity Risk Controlling Manager to enhance our Risk Controlling function with a primary focus on the Internal Liquidity Adequacy Assessment Process (ILAAP) and comprehensive Liquidity Risk Management.
In this pivotal role, you will spearhead the design, implementation, and analytical evaluation of liquidity risk controlling models that comply with regulatory standards (Pillar I) while also aligning with our internal methodologies. Key Responsibilities:
- Lead the continuous development and enhancement of the ILAAP framework to ensure it accurately reflects the organization's liquidity adequacy and risk tolerance.
- Design and improve advanced methodologies for liquidity risk measurement, such as internal liquidity maturity ladders, survival period assessments, and intraday liquidity metrics.
- Initiate the creation and calibration of detailed liquidity stress testing scenarios, pinpointing potential vulnerabilities and scrutinizing qualitative assumptions.
- Ensure adherence to all relevant European and German regulations, including MaRisk and EBA Guidelines related to ILAAP, while overseeing compliance with regulatory liquidity reporting standards.
- Establish and manage the risk limit architecture for liquidity and funding, providing expert insights on limit calibration and remediation strategies.
- Lead initiatives aimed at enhancing data quality, governance, and lineage for core balance sheet data utilized in liquidity risk and ILAAP computations.
- Act as the primary methodological authority and project leader for liaising with internal/external auditors and regulators (e.g., EBA, national central banks) regarding the effectiveness and robustness of liquidity risk practices.
