Your Responsibilities
As the Live-In Superintendent, you will be the on-site presence ensuring the property is well-maintained and that residents receive prompt, professional service. Your responsibilities will blend operational oversight, maintenance tasks, leasing support, and community engagement.
Key Responsibilities:
- Maintain cleanliness and safety of the building, common areas, and grounds.
- Perform minor repairs and routine maintenance within units and shared spaces, coordinating complex tasks with maintenance staff or external contractors.
- Prepare and clean vacant units for new residents and showings.
- Facilitate the leasing process by showing available affordable and market-rent suites, responding to inquiries, and assisting with move-ins and move-outs.
- Manage seasonal property maintenance including snow removal, garbage handling, and basic landscape upkeep.
- Maintain inventory of supplies for cleaning, maintenance, and operations.
- Foster positive relationships with residents through respectful service.
- Adhere to safety protocols and comply with WHMIS and other health and safety regulations.
